workshop on Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Datum događanja: 23.2.2023. 14:30 - 16:00 Export event Brief description Since a vast number of organic substances and molecules, such as proteins, lipids, sugars and many others, is naturally able to absorb infrared light in specific wavelength regions, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) found its precious place in identification and researching of such substances. It is especially useful in life sciences where we deal with many biological compounds that are quite similar in their chemical and physical characteristics. FT-IR spectral data can be acquired with a very small sample quantity since it is a very sensitive analytical technique. During this workshop we will learn how to acquire data from a raw sample to a finished spectrogram and get general guidelines for interpreting FT-IR spectra. Dokumenti FTIR Workshop (714,97 KB) Tweet
