GEOSTAT Summer School on computing with spatial and spatio-temporal data

GEOSTAT aims at PhD students and researchers in a range of environmental and GIS sciences, especially those focusing on analyzing spatial and spatio-temporal gridded data in R and OS GIS. The Summer School program takes usually six days (5 days in classroom + 1 day excursion) and includes a mixture of training sessions, discussion session and spatial prediction competition games. This summer school is limited to 50 participants. Selection of participants will be based on time of registration, contributions to the OS projects, academic output and distance to the venue (travel effort).
